After stopping for 4 years... Tarek El Molla confirms that the MOC Petroleum Conference will be held next October

Engineer Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, announced on the sidelines of the energy conference held today at the City Stars Hotel that the MOC Conference will take place next October.

He emphasized that this is a significant event for all Egyptian and international oil companies. The Organizing Committee of the International Mediterranean Offshore Conference and Exhibition has announced the resumption of the conference and exhibition after a four-year hiatus due to the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The conference and exhibition will be held this year from October 20 to 22, 2024, in Alexandria Governorate.

The committee highlights the importance of the conference and the Mediterranean Energy Exhibition in promoting Egypt’s goals in the field of clean energy, especially in enhancing access to gas. As one of the most important technical conferences and exhibitions, MOC serves as a cornerstone of Egypt’s clean energy strategic plan, emphasizing the critical integration of gas resources within our sustainable energy framework.

“By fostering dialogue, cooperation, and technological innovation, MOC is significantly contributing to shaping Egypt’s path towards clean energy while ensuring that gas remains essential in our country’s transition to a more sustainable and equitable future,” stated the Minister.
